We should have a party.
And choose the most outrageous theme we can think of.
I think we should dress up.
And take photos like they’re going to end up in Vogue.
Let’s make fancy food for no reason (or better yet, eat pizza off fine china).
And create grocery store floral arrangements and keep them on the table for weeks.
We should close our laptops and forget about our chores.
We should laugh and dance and cry and just be alive for a little while.
Because what are we waiting for?
This is our life.
Isn’t that worth celebrating?

In Defense of Themed Parties: Because I Only Have One Life
Book Progress
Long story short, I feel PUMPED about this book. I’ve really hit my stride this week and am having so much fun revising, editing video content, and *starting* to dream up more in-depth marketing ideas. Most weeks don’t feel this way, so I’m grateful.
Three Faves
We loosely followed this recipe to make these delicious harvest bowls this week. Except we made it 10x easier by using leftover grilled chicken, a pre-made salad kit and dressing, Seeds of Change microwaveable quinoa/rice, and frozen diced butternut squash. Oh, and I added some grapes for fun.
Outfit inspo via Chessy from The Parent Trap.
Messy braid = my “in” hairstyle for summer. I threw a headband on top of my falling-out braid to wash my face just now, and Greta told me I looked like Belle from Beauty and the Beast. So basically I’m never taking this braid out.
Thanks for letting me pop in your inbox with some joyful words this week. See you on Instagram tomorrow,
Sarah
