🎈Introducing my book, Dream On: The Art of Cultivating Your Dreams in Everyday Life, releasing on Amazon September 24th!🎈
Look around.
Almost everything you see that’s good and beautiful was once a dream in someone’s mind.
Whether it’s the nature trail in your neighborhood or the clothes on your body or the technology in your pocket or the song in your earbuds or the meal at your favorite restaurant.
Someone had a dream—someone you probably don’t even know—and you are feeling the effects of it. Your world is beautifully changed and impacted by other people’s dreams.
We may not even be able to fathom the ways in which our dreams will reach into others’ lives, but they will. That’s what dreams do. Even when cultivated by imperfect, trembling people in a chaotic, difficult world, dreams can’t help but spread hope and life like wildfire.
Whether you want to plant a garden or start a business, reform the education system or raise a family, you have dreams in your heart that are waiting to be cultivated.
And I believe that’s what you were made for.
Your dreams aren’t lofty, frivolous, or selfish. Your longings and desires have been placed there for a reason.
We need you to recognize your role as a co-creator with the Creator of the Universe and confidently participate in putting the broken pieces of the world back together—even in seemingly “small” ways.
And you can start now.
Most of us can’t just quit our jobs and halt our responsibilities in pursuit of our dreams. In order to turn the dreams in our minds into beautiful experiences in our lives, we’re going to need to ground our dreams in reality.
We’ll need to focus on working toward the not-yet while being present in the here-and-now. We’ll weave joy and purpose into the mundane. We’ll talk about our mindset, time, routines, community, successes, failures, impact, and more.
And I hope that by the end of this book, you’ll have already begun cultivating a dream in your heart that’s been waiting to become a reality.
It’s time to dream on.
Now, for a chance to be featured in the book…
I need your help!! As I wrap up final edits on the book, I need some audience submissions for a special page on chapter two. The goal is help a reader who’s trying to figure out what their dream is. I’d love to give examples of real-life people’s dreams to get that reader’s wheels turning and to illustrate that dreams come in all shapes and sizes.
So for a chance to be featured in the book, please either 1) leave a comment on this post (button below) or 2) hit reply to this email and tell me what your dream is!
Your submission can be as simple as “My dream is to learn to garden” or as detailed as “My dream is to create technology that helps people get outside and explore the country’s national parks.”
(If your submission is featured in the book, I’ll list just your first name and your dream, eg. “Sarah wants to write a book” or “Chris wants to cook from scratch.” You can let me know if you’d like your name changed for anonymity!)
Lastly, head to my Instagram later today to chat and celebrate the book announcement!!🎈
Ahhhh!! I couldn’t be more excited that all this info is out in the world. It truly feels real now. As always, thank you times a million for your support of my dreams. I hope this book will help you with yours.
Stay tuned for lots of inside scoops, BTS of the process, and quotes from the book in the next several weeks as we prep for launch. WOOHOO!
